Castlevania 2. Dracula inflicted wounds that wont heal on Simon during Castlevania 1 immediately starting the plot. Zelda 2: Meanwhile Gannon's minions respond to the death of Ganon by trying to kill Link to revive him Super Mario World?: According to the cartoon at least, after banishing Bowser from the mushroom kingdom he escaped to Dinosaur island. I might be pushing it. Wario Land 2 (maybe some others): Wario is celebrating the wealth he got from his last adventure only for the Syrup Pirates to hijack the castle he got in the good ending of Wario Land 1 --- Rip Politics board.
