And I'm not sure there are that many good male candidates anyway. It feels like the Democratic party simply hasn't built any stars, and the ones they have in the waiting would be better off serving longer in congress and/or have no chance of winning the nomination because the party hates progressives. We need someone with the charisma of Obama that the establishment doesn't hate, and I don't think we have that anywhere.
