You can't climb the social ladder in the fandom without spending a lot of money, unless you're a talented artist or content creator. I sometimes call it a "pay-to-win fandom." If you want a large following with little work, spend thousands on a brand name fursuit or tons of furry art/porn of your OC. This is also very true. There are some furries that won't write or talk to you, unless you bought art from a popular artist or your OC is...some some sex machine. --- It's more than good, it's alive!
