I worked for Telus for a year (I didn't say which Telecomm I worked for but I've quit now yeet) and it was stupid as shit how they sell to people. Oh yeah, push TV on millenials and Gigabit services on seniors, woooo!!!!! I just talked shit about it with customers and they appreciated that far more.

I work for Spectrum. Ours is very much a 'fling shit on wall' approach. "Pitch everything to everyone." All I fucking hear. Cable TV is a scam. I DON'T WANT to pitch it! But I get reprimanded if I don't. Fucking loser of a Supervisor I have. The more I earn in commission, the more he earns. But I know it's a scam and am perfectly fine order taking and not earning much more than my base salary. God, I hate my job.
