Grade: 80 We might not have saved the best for last, but this was a solid one to be sure and I'm glad we didn't end on literally BURGER KING. This sandwich wasn't as good as the spicy version, but the texture was pretty great which I'm chalking up to the unique breading- something KFC could've really utilized in their own batter frying process- and the flavor didn't leave too much to be desired. I'm still expecting Church's to shine during what is most likely to be our next project, but it did well enough during this Chicken Run. If you have any in your area it's definitely worth going out of your way to grab their offerings because they don't taste like anybody else's. Church's knew they couldn't beat anyone at their own game (looking at you, Zaxby's) so they didn't even try and did their own thing instead and I can appreciate that.
