Having a white person play a fictional role that isnt traditionally white can be ok under certain circumstances but you also must accept whites being played by minorities as well. Eternals is going to age extremely well the further we get away from it. It's ambitious, unique, and beautiful to look at. We need more CBMs like it. Wonder Woman 1984 was a hopeful and joyful homage to the silver age of superhero storytelling, and while flawed it came about at the most cynical time if recent history and would've been appreciated more if itd released a year earlier. WALL-E is one of the best movies released in the last 25 years. Not just animated, movies period. The Last Jedi is the second best star wars film ever released in a theater, from a filmmaking perspective. --- This post didn't exist to you until you read it.
