This gen my joy con drifted (now fixed with a halls sensing replacement stick) and now my ps5 controller is drifting. I am way more inclined to buy cheap 3rd party controllers now since the propriety ones are shit anyway and 3x the cost. Unfortunately I don't see cheap knock offs of the ps5 controller though.
