Well Im not sure that would necessarily be a better deal for the landowner than renting one regular house out, but more importantly tiny house owners can buy their own land. Undeveloped land usually costs a lot less than buying a house. And then you can build a tiny house on that land (in fact they are often pre-built) --- Yes it's true.
