I'm having a blast with it, but some of it is just unreasonably hard.

Yesterday I finished an all logs run on mission 21, Eliminate the Enforcement Squads, and it's one of the hardest things I've done in gaming. At the start of the level, off to the right somewhere, there's a mech using the fast tank legs with a pulse armor who spams a lot of missiles as he zooms around you like Sonic the Hedgehog. You have to beat him to get a Combat Log, except to get credit for it, you have to finish the mission after beating him. After him and collecting the nearby Data Log, you have to kill some fodder, collect another Data Log over to the left, then you have to fight two flighty ACs, then some more fodder, then the level boss, who has a really annoying shield that absorbs a lot of damage, with an annoying shield bash and a devastating charged energy beam that can basically one shot you. And there's no checkpoint whatsoever, so you have to do ALL of that in one go.

This was way harder than any of the bosses IMO. I tried all my builds and didn't get much of anywhere. This is the build I ended up beating it with:
Arms: Dual Vvc-760PR
Shoulders: Dual SONGBIRDS
Head: HD-012 MELANDER C3
Core: DF-BD-O8 TIAN-QIANG
Arms: DF-AR-O8 TIAN-QIANG
Legs: DF-LG-O8 TIAN-QIANG
Booster: BST-G2/P04
FCS: FC-006 ABBOT
Generator: VP-20S
Expansion: Pulse Armor

For OS Tuning, I had Boost Kick, Pulse Armor 1 and 2, Energy Weapons - Output Control Tuning and the first two upgrades, Repair Kits - Optimization, all upgrades.

For the Combat Log tank mech, sneaking up on him really helps. If you spam both shoulders and both arms at him, dodge well, and don't miss, you can take him down quickly without losing much health.

For the two mechs, the best strategy I've found is to float up over the vertical building and wait for them to fly in, then hit them with both shoulders and it should hit them both and stagger them, then just try to take one out ASAP so you can focus on the other. If done correctly, you should barely take damage.

For the boss, I used a Pulse Armor shortly after the fight started, then just try to dodge his shit and spam shoulders and arms. When the Pulse Armor cooldown runs out so you can use another charge, try and save it for when he's actually about to hit you with something damaging, like his stupid shield bash or his charge cannon.

The time I beat him, I had the best run I've ever had at the Tank mech (he took 1/4 of one life bar), one of the worst runs I've ever had at the dual mechs (I didn't stagger them at first, so I ended up having to use a Repair Kit and still ended up with 3/4 of a lifebar gone), and went into the boss fight with full health but only one repair kit left. I had a little over 1000 armor left, and my adrenaline was through the roof. Killing that piece of shit is one of the best feelings I've had in gaming in quite some time.

Just as an FYI, in addition to the Data Log near where the tank mech is, after you clear out the trash, before you go up the ramp to where the two two mechs are, go over to the left and there's another Data Log in a little niche in the wall the video doesn't show. Just to save you from having to repeat this nightmare of a mission again for a missing Data Log.

Since that big ordeal, I beat the Chapter 3 Ice Worm boss last night, and that's basically where I'm at.
