Very rare W for the Lone Star Out of Five State. It's a terrible law, WTF is wrong with all of you? This law just made some victims worth more than others. A LOT more. Now, someone w/ a BAC 4x the legal limit plowing into a 20 year old college student in a crosswalk going 70 mph in a 30 mph zone gets no fines beyond the prison time, and someone w/ a BAC 1.2x the legal limit that hits some 45 year old idiot (that has 6 kids) crossing the freeway w/o looking while going the legal speed limit gets hit w/ massive child support fees. It makes the punishment no longer fit the circumstances of the crime and instead fit how much of a breeder the victim was. Dear god do I hope the Supreme Court overturns this sick joke of a law! ...
