Okay, what's the difference?

I'm being super broad here but vaguely

Conservatives idealogy: Small government, intense focus on indivudual and local/state goverment rights, personal and religious freedom, low taxes, minimal international intervention, intense rule of law, fiscal responsibility, peace through economic interdependence.

Republican idealogy: Massive government supporting the 1%, restricton of personal rights, integreation of religion and politics, enormous intervention internationally to support big businsess interests, absolutely no fiscal responsibility whatsoever, proxy wars and destablization to make profits, no enforcement of law whatsoever for "certain" people.

There's really nothing conservative about the current Republican party. The Democrats are far more conservative.

But because the media calls Republican conservative and Democrats liberal, it gets very confusing.

"I'm a fiscal small government conservative who supports Donalds Trump's policies" is an oxymoron.
