Go to the pet store and get some feeder goldfish. They will live and thrive under a ton of water temperatures, even if the top half is frozen, they will live as long as there is water. Mosquitoes and other bugs use water for their larva, they will try to reproduce, but the fish will eat them and the worms they leave behind.
