My take on Dave is he does come off as a douche at times, but his videos are interesting.

Though there is something. His scale is a little weird. Like, a 6.4 isn't amazing pizza but it's decent. People may look at a 6.4 and just think it sucks, but 6.4 is decent. a 7.2 is "pretty good" but people also may not realize his scale. He also scores most neapolitan pizzas a 6.8, which if that is what you make you might get branded a 6.8 which, if people don't know daves scale, that's a fine neapolitian pizza.

What I always dislike with this kind of stuff is the fact he can destroy a business I feel like if it gets a low score. Which, sure, if the pizza sucks it sucks but it's weird one guy can basically set the tone. Or what if you own a pizza place that has great pizza and you make good money as the owner. Dave shows up, gives you an 8.8, a really high score for him, and for the next several weeks/months you are slammed all day to the wall. You'd think that'd be good, but maybe the owner was content before and aggravated now.

Just seems weird one single guy can affect so much. But the videos themselves are entertaining to me.
