The whole "Democrats are left wing because Trump and Bush are idiots. Just look at Sanders and AOC!" is a farce.

Sanders would be considered moderate left in most western countries and he's considered a far left radical pariah in his own party.

The idea that things like Universial Healthcare and Rich People paying taxes are "Radical Far Left Idealogy" rather than common sense is fucking bonkers and the result of centuries of right wing propaganda.

Biden in 2023 is less liberal on immigration than what Ronald Reagan was in the 1980s, and the Biden Administration has continually done horrible shit to foreigners, but because it is not Trump doing horrible things to foreigners, people suddenly dont give a fuck, are just ignorant of the policies even happening, or the worst one, are suddenly okay with it.
