Speaking of gender ideology, I always find it funny when some gender studies person says gender is social construct like it's supposed to refute the two genders. If gender is a social construct, anything that is 'gender' literally is a construct. According to their logic, male, female, nonbinary, gender fluid, these are all social constructs. I'd argue that the latter two are 'social constructs', other former two, heteronormative culture. 'Gender is a social construct' is literally on the opposite side of the nature vs nurture debate as people saying that people are 'born this way' in regards to gender identity but I've seen both paraded around as the psychological consensus in the past few years. In a field where most studies are based on something as subjective as questionnaires and the vast majority of published studies can't be reproduced how can anyone say that anything is settled in regards to any of these issues.
