Supporting trans people sounds sketchy to the folks that want to push that children are walking into clinics to get puberty blockers, hormones, and GRS purely on their own judgment to ban gender affirming care. I mean, there are actual detransitioners who attest to that basically being the case, despite everyone's insistence that it's just a myth. These people came from somewhere though.
