Just like how Pepe was at one point, until everyone else started claiming it was a right wing meme, so no one else used it (outside of satirizing right wingers), and it ultimately turned into a solely right wing meme. Chad is nowhere near that point yet though. Pepe was reclaimed from the right wingers thankfully.
