I saw the recipe and it looked so easy that I tried it.

Drain and dump the fruit in 8x8 pan. Cream butter,sugar vanilla and add flour+milk+salt+baking powder. I subbed baking soda. Spread this over fruit.

Now mix sugar+cinnamon+cornstarch. I increased the amount of cornstarch because I noticed the fruit was not as drained as I thought. Sprinkle on top and then pour 1/4 of a cup of boiling water on it.

I used 1/2 cup sugar instead of 3/4.
