Oh, we're doing breakdowns.

Neko: tuxedo. First cat, we got him because my rats got out and started breeding. A few months after we got him we had no more rats. He was to this day the most intelligent cat I've ever known, self-sufficient to the extreme (lived outside by himself for 3 months), and a real boss. Loved him to death, but we couldn't get him a life-saving operation and he died at 7 from kidney failure.

Inu: white-orange tabby. Dumbest sack of bricks I ever did see, but he was very affectionate. We got him to be a companion to Neko, but...well, they got along okay. Had to give him away on a temporary basis due to living situation. Mother then lost the contact info for the guy we left him with, so I lost him forever. Still haven't forgiven her for that one.

Yuki: white, brown, and gray tortoise shell? Got her not long after Neko died. Loving personality abd loved other cats--except Kuromi (see below). She got along with my roommate's cat so well that they were essentially inseperable. She died of lung cancer at age 15.

Ivan: tuxedo. Technically was not my cat, but another roommate's. This guy was the sweetest animal I've ever known; so long as you weren't a dog, he wanted to be your buddy. He was a street rescue by said roommate, was found in a very bad state. Nursed back to health, and became best boy. Said roommate was an abusive, neglectful alcoholic though, so when he offered to give him to me and my other roommate, I accepted without thinking. To this date he's been the best pet I've ever had, and it hit me incredibly hard when I had to euthanize him. Died of lung cancer at 16.

Kuromi: black cat. only cat I've ever purchased. Black cat, definitely the runt of her litter. I walked randomly into a pet store one day and saw that she was sitting in a cage full of kittens, but was curled into ball and sleeping away from the others who were very hyperactive. Store owner told me she was juat having a bad day. I never would purchase another animal again, but her I would: there had only been one other cat she gets along with (Ivan, who else). Otherwise, she's very hateful toward other felines, but loves other people. Still alove at 16, even though she's smaller and weaker than before. Somehow still healthy, too, despite chronic URI.

Luna: black cat. Sister to Mew. We never got enough time to bond with her, as she died not long after we got her: Wet FIP. She was just over 2 years old.

Mew: black cat. sister to Luna. She's now 4. Is very affectionate, but only on her own terms: while I've had lap cats before, she's the only cat I've known who will find any way possible to sit on you in the most awkward positions. She is also extremely talkative. Gets along well with Chopstick, but wisely keeps her distance from Kuromi. Most of the time.

Chopstick: tuxedo. We took him in from my brother due to my nephew's cat allergy. We cat sat him once when Ivan was still alive and they got along famously, but Kuromi terrorized him. He probably remembers that because he hates her. Always stirring shit with her. He absolutely loves Mew though, and stays by her side a lot. He was a street cat rescue that my brother and sister-in-law brought over from Vietnam. Honestly, it's a tiny miracle he's alive. He's currently 8 years old and still going strong, only dental issues being his health problem.
