I doubt they'd make it past where the fighters are in Dragon Ball. One of the earliest strength feats was Goku using the power pole to travel to the moon and back while carrying Boss Rabbit, which was then subsequently blown up by Jackie Chun. The characters only get stronger after that. It's also easy to forget, because we're watching the show from the perspective of the characters, that DB characters are casually fighting faster than the human eye can even see.

DBZ is all just raw power and screaming.

Doubt, as it's been shown that characters with sufficient strength can just ignore mental and even time powers. And don't discount that screaming as nothing, since it's also been shown that characters can scream so hard they can rip open holes in dimensions.
