Topic	So I started the first Ys game

I can see why it was influential at the time, but I felt the exact same way about that boss. All but one boss is either way too easy, or stupidly hard. You can't even grind to make it easier. Luckily Ys 2 feels a lot better designed. While I can see why people find the game rough, I feel most of the boss fights in the first game are similar to a puzzle where you need to observe and solve the best way to damage the boss. The second game feels more like playing a bullet hell game where dexterity and avoiding attacks to damage the boss is the prime focus.
