SMW is probably the single game I have played the most ever. Occasionally complete it quickly, which I can easily enough do in about 20 minutes. Probably once a year complete it entirely. I originally beat it shortly after turning 3 years old on my dad's SNES. He told me it was annoyed his 3 year old was better at it than him. It might also be the game I own the most times? At least beat on most. I have it on SNES, GBA, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, Switch and SNES classic. Could also be another Mario game I suppose.

I'm not entirely sure why I prefer it to 3. I think it's the secret exits part, generally prefer how this world is. They're very close in terms of level design and as mentioned definitely top 20 games of all time both, probably top 10.

I think my most beaten game is FFX but SMW might be second, yeah.

Anyway this topic inspired me to try the Super Mario Land games because I've actually never played them somehow. 1 wasn't on Switch so I started up 2 and whoa this game kinda slaps
