Topic	Sakura really is da worst written female in fictional history huh?

Hinata is better written in the sense that there is less bad with her. Sakura is a main character, Hinata is not. As a matter of fact, I actually like that Naruto was paired with someone that wasn't a main character. That's probably the best thing you can say about the pairing. Mystereave posted... I don't understand, I just don't. How did Naruto ever succeed at all? It really feels like it did nothing right, Kishimoto sucks at almost everything apparently, the manga he wrote after Naruto bombed and was cancelled... One Piece is still going strong, people were generally excited to see the Bleach anime come back, meanwhile Naruto's over here just digging its own grave deeper and deeper. I just... Is ANYTHING I like or watch or read or play destined for this fate? It's literally driving me mad at this point. Because at the start of Naruto, the concept was pretty neat. And it still has some decent battles for a fighting shonen. Plus, you were a kid, and it has ninjas, and a lot of kids like ninjas. The issue with Naruto is that it blunders around too much, and most of the cast is either underutilized, underdeveloped, or thrown away. It consistently shit on its own themes, and just genuinely suffers from a lot of battle manga issues. If you're watching it for fights, it's alright, and even good at moments.
