| thronedfire2 07/21/23 9:03:23 PM #33: | my roomate used to leave the front door unlocked even when she was home alone all day. we do live in a suburb with a pretty low crime rate(pretty low as in if you go 5 miles in the other direction it's "high", but mine is one of the lowest in the state), but I managed to convince her that this was absolutely insane. neither of us owns a gun and she has no easy access to a weapon. there's just no reason at all to leave your door unlocked to let someone come in even if you're living in the safest place ever --- I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen... ...
