Part of the problem with modern Hollywood are these bloated budgets for movies that really don't need it and can't be expected to make the budget worth it. Smaller projects for streaming for the less guaranteed hits (such as Blue Beetle) is probably the best approach. Problem with that is they're struggling to monetize those movies. They have no eligible impact on subscribers so they're just being seen as a money sink. Leading to cancellations, delisting and tax write offs to make up some of the cost.
