After Jack Snyder, multiple controversies with actors, zero direction, and REPEATED movie failures back-to-back, the reputation is just completely tarnished. There's no way DC live-action is coming back. These movies fail the box office not necessarily because the movies are bad (bad movies pull hundreds of millions or even billions all the time), people simply aren't even going out to buy tickets for DC anymore.
