| SockoressKnight 07/18/23 12:10:07 PM #367: | Finished rewatching Soul Eater NOT. It's cuter than I remember (loved Anya and Jackie) but also uglier. I wasn't as impressed by the fight in episode 1, which is the best fight in the series, and the characters just look off a lot of the time. It's not abysmal, but it is distracting, and I don't think I've seen a worse looking Bones show. Doesn't look like there is anything I need to catch up on for next season, so I'll probably rewatch Soul Eater proper next Brief mentions on more Spring 2023 shows I wrapped up... Hell's Paradise - solid action and characters, interesting setting, way too much introspection during combat. Looking forward to S2 Mashle - I enjoyed it, but for the wrong reason. Comedy wise, I laughed at the magic writing, Mash's potion, and the quiditch rip-off, but I found the show largely unfunny. However, I thought Mash was really cool. Not sure I'll watch S2, though. Otaku Elf - Very pretty, but it doesn't really move.
