| Torgo 07/16/23 10:14:50 AM #23: | What is bad, are review aggregate sites being used as a lazy end-all to replace any need for critical analysis. Critics and reviewers use different scales and ways to measure or give their final analysis, and metacritc tries to fit all those systems into it's one-size-fits-all approach. IGN will rarely give a AAA game less than a 70... a 60 if the thing is literally unplayable or completely misrepresented and glaringly fraudulent while many outlets will give utterly broken games a 10 or 0... This doesn't even take into account which reviewers are paid shills or saboteurs, it has no mechanism to determine that. --- If what you believe is truthful and just, you shouldn't have to posture as someone or something else. ...
