That's the real issue here, but that'll never be addressed because the real issue here is profit seeking under capitalism.Right. The one job of the people running the company is to maximize profit. The fines have to be high enough that a company stands to lose more than they stand to gain by doing an illegal thing. If they'll get fined $X but will make $X+1 dollars then it could be argued that it's bad business not to break the law. --- "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.
