It's a great show. It's a shame it didn't capture you so far but it's really enjoyable to watch.

Funny you bring that up about Jeff, sounds a little like projecting. I also always felt (and it's then basically confirmed) that Jeff is Dan Harmon's mouthpiece and who he wished he would be, while Pierce is so obviously Harmon himself and Harmon hates seeing his exact copy of old fat white guy compared to hot sexy jeff.

I won't lie; the first time I watched community, all those years ago... it didn't win me over immediately. I was weirded out by chang's perfomance in the very second episode and not in a good way. But quickly started liking it a few episodes in, and outright loved it halfway through the first season. All of the season is great, but the episode starting with the chicken fingers all the way to the season finale is just hit episode after hit.
