So out of curiosity, is the process just long delayed, or did the party that started this process just assume that they would remain in power over the full duration of the process so that the constitution would be exactly what they wanted? Seems like kind of a rookie mistake to start to rewrite your Constitution knowing that there is an election standing between you and the party that would inevitably get to finish the process.

Interestingly enough, the right wing party that was in power when this whole thing started and the streets were on fire, actually tried to solve the issue with democracy, beyond their own government that they knew wouldn't stay in power.

They did do everything in their power for the first proposal to be rejected, which it was.

Man I legit forgot about this guy and his weird Chile topics

What's "weird" about it? I live in Chile. Is that "weird" to you?

Oh look the clown car with all the clowns has shown up calling me a "right wing shill" when I've made it abundantly clear that I lean left. But far left dreamers will always deflect facts and demands for actual solutions with fake outrage and "far right!" screeches.

But no yeah show us I'm wrong by all means do your own research and show Boric's government (for which I voted) isn't in shambles. Try to look up facts for once.
