Not a kid's show but the shipping in Supernatural from what I've heard was wild. I only started watching in like 2019 or something so I didn't have any first hand experience with that. CW shows in particular have had terrible shipping fandoms actually. Sherlock is part of it but it's just one link on the chain. "Superwholock" was the amalgamation that started the real clusterfuck. One might try to argue Homestuck had this problem just as early, but there wasn't really, like...ROOM for shipping discourse in that Fandom.
