| Torgo 07/03/23 10:04:27 AM #11: | I hate all those Judd Apatow movies, and I dislike Steve Corell. His over the top scenery chewing makes The Office unwatchable to me... like everyone else on the show besides utterly bland Jim and Pam are quirky and weird, but believable. Corell's Michael Scott is so blatantly stupid and inappropriate and immature it clashes with the show's understated "documentary" approach. Also, just to finish off my American The Office rant: Jim is really bland, and I get that he's the male audience stand-in - but he's kind of a mean bully to Dwight. Clearly Dwight is weaker physically and emotionally, and Jim just relentlessly bullies him often for no good reason or without any provocation. Dwight is a dork, and annoying, but he's powerless and insecure... and Jim just preys on him and bullies him to where it disgusts me. Jim gains nothing material from it most of the time. --- The right wing believe a fact is what their hierarchical belief structure dictates should be true - Not what is reflected in objective reality. ...
