That's one of the reasons why Microsoft decided to buy Bethesda in the first place, to stop Sony from bribing them to never release Starfield on Xbox. I'm sure stopping Sony from anti-competitively preventing Final Fantasy from ever releasing on Xbox was high on their list of reasons for acquiring Square Enix. Which is a shame, because Microsoft is against NFTs.
