I do seem to remember something annoying about it, though...maybe no fast travel? Maybe the bugginess of ship combat especially boarding? Though AC Odyssey was way worse, reflecting on it after recently beating the game I definitely disliked all ship travel there compared to AC 4's Black Flag which was a hoot and a half. Loved the sea shanties. Enjoyed hunting whales and large ocean beasts.
