It's high time that people realize that there is a significant portion of this country that is still pissed about the gains made during the Civil Rights era of the 1960s. Conservatives have been playing a 50 year long game here, slowly chipping away at progress. There is a significant portion of this country that stopped and said "I'm good" on this 55+ year second attempt at reconstruction (little R) and integration.
