Cars are a billion times safer for the occupants than 1981, and while I feel like they should be a little safer for pedestrians, the overall size now cancels any benefit out. There are some trucks on the road regular people(not construction, hauling, etc) drive that are so tall I doubt you'd even be able to see a person in such a place where you have a green light but must yield to peds in crosswalk when turning. <cite>argonautweakend posted [p:974459096] in U.S. pedes...
