The thing was a deathtrap, the CEO fired the guy who pointed it out, and ended up getting all his passengers killed because he decided to cheap out on the sub construction. The ocean doesn't care if you live or die, as many sailors will attest. So you have to put in the work necessary to ensure the safety of yourself and your passengers.
