It's true though, the thread. It does expose the hypocricy in people that claim to be all about empathy until its a group they don't like.

Everybody is an individual, everybody is a person.

It's sad seeing discourse on the internet often because you realize that many people are awful on both sides.

The rich perpetuate class warfare and social murder, which kills far more people with slow, preventable deaths which no one seems to give a shit about since it's far more commonly accepted. The rich are responsible for most of society's ills with artificial scarcity, wars for oil, identity politics meant to divide, fascism, climate change, I could keep going. So you can excuse people for some schadenfreude.
