A bit, because he started out as a bit of a dick when he first got his confidence and powers, and then when Uncle Ben died he mellowed out a bit, but he still had snark to go around. I can understand people wanting more of it, but people forget, it's Spiderman, not Deadpool lol. He talks a lot, but a good deal of it is in their head, and it'd have really sucked to have narration over things constantly.

I still recall Toby being fairly awkward tho even after he graduated highschool. to me the Peter from 1963 seemed pretty normal in social situations. He was just bullied for being a bookworm for some reason lol.
