The main problem I have with the outsider argument isif your main goal was an outsider to overturn the system, why would you choose the outsider who was a 26 year Washington congressman/senator (from the same party as the outgoing president, who I would assume would be the inspiration behind wanting an outsider) over the legitimate non-politician who acted and behaved unlike most politicians?

For Bernie to beat Trump, he would need to pick up the ENTIRE blue wall that Hillary lost in 2016. He beat her in Wisconsin and Michigan, but he lost to her in Pennsylvania, and he NEEDS to win Pennsylvania to beat Trump. I just dont see him pulling it off, especially since he is more likely to depress the African American vote more than he could potentially make gains in the working class white vote.
