Because it's a character nobody outside comic readers has ever even heard of, and only Marvel has proven able to succeed with "obscure" characters Yeah im not a comic reader and i never heard of guardians of galaxy, ant man and scarlet witch before the movies. Maybe its the same reason why are not as popular as spiderman but i dont feel any urge to watch any of the sequels and probably never will watch them.
