It's just creepy, regardless of gender or sexuality. Obviously there are exceptions where it works out and the couple is in a healthy place, but a lot of times it's obvious the older half has no game and gets put in their place by others their own age so they resort to younger people.

Or the younger people might want to date someone who has their life together. Or they just like them. Thats why I date my BF whos more than 10 years older We just fell in love, without worrying about the age difference

Typically the older one is someone who finally has something that makes them attractive to young people (alcohol, disposable income, own a home, etc.) because they couldn't date when they were younger because on an even ground it's revealed how shit their personality is.

This is another ridiculous statement. My BF actually was dating people before me. He was married twice to women, but came out. And had BFs back where he use to live. But we started dating a little after he moved here So, they can and do date people their own age

A lot of times the older one is a guy who can't get a woman his own age. E.g.:
Divorced guy who suddenly goes for younger women because women his own age can see the red flags and won't put up with the BS
Late-bloomer types who are starting college later or their career was postponed, when women his own age have graduated and are a few years into their career, why date a guy who is studying for finals?
Rich guy who pays for stuff and expects sex in return because he doesn't want an equal partner but instead a fucktoy.
Etc.

These are pretty specific scenarios If anything, these are kind of exceptions, too Not everyone (or even most) will probably fall into these categories. Some most likely will, though But youre acting as if you know the motives of most people dating someone younger, when you really dont Just because you assume they fall into these categories dont mean they actually do

Again, large age-gaps can be healthy and work out, but they get an automatic side-eye especially if the older person exclusively dates younger

Youd have to know that, though Just because someone is dating someone younger, or has dated someone younger a couple times doesnt mean they exclusively do
