She should have at least died in her own story and not as a side character in a Spider-Man story. And apparently she didn't get killed by a major villain. Like it would have been better if she had some heroic sacrifice moment against a serious enemy like Doctor Doom or Galactus and saves everyone She apparently got killed by some street level serial killer ...
