Topic	Is it true that Noise Cancelling is much less effective on earbuds than they are

The XM4s are going to be even better given their foam eartips, being able to block out noise more effectively. You should be fine using them for most situations where you might want noise cancelling. Ive used the over-ear XM3 and XM4 from Sony as well as the Sennheiser Momentum 4s - the noise cancellation in the XM3 earbuds was sufficient enough that I did not miss the noise cancelling of the big headphones. That being said if you want TOTAL silence (or as near as you can get since I know someone will nitpick), Id advise getting the headphones. --- Nostalgia, how I remember things.
