Serious question because if more people thought exactly like you, then we would have a much more progressive or left wing government. The majority of Democratic voters (let alone the rest of the electorate) arent interested in that.

Then why do left wing policies routinely poll great?

Refusing to compromise will only prevent these ideas from ever being tried.

Doing nothing =/= compromise

If you think your ideas are good, dont stop promoting them and they will take hold if they are in fact good ideas.

They are taking hold. The democrats just refuse to push for them.
