| Topic | Just watched Straight outta Compton, a downright fantastic movie about NWA |

At first I thought this movie was a documentary with the picture of ice cube on the poster. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/9/3/9/AAeC6JAAEe2b.jpg Then I realized... Holy shit thats not ice cube. The casting they got to play ice cube is fantastic he looks exactly like him. Then I realized again: that's literally his real life son playing his dad lol. That's frigging awesome. The movie is about NWA starting out and growing popular, then the eventual falling out of some of the members due to managerial contract issues, with ice cube and eventually dre leaving to become ice cube and dr dre. The movie ends with them about to reunite just before easy-e finds out he's hiv positive and dies, a bit sad. But the movie end credits show the impact they had on society and culture in America and even worldwide. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
