No. One drug smuggler who grew up a street kid orphan on the Outer Rim acts like they're an ancient legend that never existed. Plus one imperial officer who thought the best thing to do that day was get mouthy with Vader, so clearly good ol' Admiral Motti wasn't strong in the brains. No one else questions it, and "May the Force be with you" is still used as a regular sign-off by the rebels.

... and then Rey another 20 years later, but as previously stated, the sequels were crap anyway.
