I know the reason for so many Kirby characters is that the creator of smash is literally the creator of Kirby, but could someone explain why so many fire emblem characters? Did he also create fire emblem? Possibly because there are multiple games. Unlike Mario, where there's characters returning to different games, Fire Emblem doesn't have many sequels to games so the characters are all coming from different types of games.
