The problem is that they have to rely on established characters. Creating new main characters are often seen as a risky move in comics nowadays. It's not like the 70s-80s where new heroes keep popping up. And this leads to the stagnant feel that comic books always revolves around the same superheroes. --- You have the right to remain silent.
